Truman,
    The beginning of this year, we attended the Fire Mt. Ride.  Dave
Nicholson "The Duck," announced at the pre-ride meeting (he was head Vet.)
that their has been more treatments done for the LD rides than any other
distance.  Of course, since I've been at this since 1977, I just couldn't
agree, but who knows, I sure could be wrong.  I left my opinion to my self at
that point.
    He also announced that real endurance riders rode 100 miles.  Boy, did
that stir up the crowd.  I think it even got on Ridecamp.  I would have to
check the Jan. archives. I know there was a certain point he was trying to
make, but it wasn't taken in by the riders as intended.
