Long X ride in August

Hello Midwest and Northern Mt region riders.  The Long X ride in the ND
badands 
will be Aug 11 and 12 this year.  If anyone has been having problems
with the
web page my apologies - the ride calendar has been pointing to 2 urls
(one for
each day of the ride) and I only just updated the qwest.net link to this
years 
information yesterday.  This year we're changing the 12.5 nmile
competitive trail 
ride to a fun ride (no time limits for completion, there will be a high
vet score award for horses that finish in a 30 minute window and I think
I'll have an informal poker ride so everyone will have a chance at high
and low hand awards.)   Plus we've got some neat stuff from Sportack 
through their endurohorse sponsorship pgm for ride managers, plus some 
hand braided breast collars to choose for 25 and 50 mile BC awards, and
lots of general good stuff that we'll be giving away.  We'll have a fun
time, hope a lot of you can share the party with us.

I've been having problems with nbci.com web sites in including ours, the
last
few days so if you've also been having problems with that url try the
new 
http:www.qwest.net/~tvanhove/LONGX.html site.   Today I reloaded the
nbci
site www.nbci.com/longx_ride/LONGX.html with local links in a few places
where I'd used the whole nbci... path and my browser was fine, but I
dont
know enough to say if this was a fix, or just coincidence.
