The Red Rock Ride in Reno is actually about 35 miles north of town and takes about 45 min. - 1 hr. to get there from Reno. So it is not as close to the Western States 50 as some people may think. The terrain and scenery is totally different from the Sierra. It is beautiful high desert riding. I live in and ride the Red Rock area and love it! Ruth Ambrose
