I have a theory here. Young adults are either too damn poor -like me really - or in college which is the same thing but with less time for riding. I've gotten pretty used to riding and hanging out with older people because reality says I'm the only person at the barn under thirty. I'm 24, been doin this endurance stuff for about 4 years. The nearest young endurance rider I know is miles away riding in a different park. Most endurance riders are older which usually means they have the financial means to pay for all this junk we need to do this sport, not to mention the ride entries, the vet bills, and those big beautiful living quarter trailers they all seem to have.
I'll bet there's an even scarier statistic than "no young people." How many young MEN do you see at rides???? Where are all the young studs?? I have found none....NOT that i'm looking! :)
