Kat, you've seen that 40' LQ trailer I used to have, dunno the exact weight
but it was way up there.  The dually came with 3.73 differential, but that
definitely didn't do it for pulling that load.  I traded out for a 4.7 diff
with a Gear Vendor aux transmission, and that made a huge difference, I
could crawl up trees with that.  Having the higher gear ratio will KILL you
on mileage without the gear vendor, though, but having it brings the mileage
back down better than it was with the 3.73.  Definitely worth the money.

If you want to look into it a little more, go to Unitrax right there in
Fullerton, very convenient.  They do a great job and also had the best
price.  Even delivered the truck back to my house thirty miles away and gave
me lessons on how to use the thing.
