Re: RC: Re: Saddles Issues - swayback?

I have one of Steve's saddles. Had problems with pressure points on my
first saddle, loin rubbing on the second one and if I had done the
custom saddle bit first would have SAVED money. It's made from a mold
of your horse's back and changes as your horse's back changes. They are
in demand, and all hand made, so you won't get one right away. I waited
3 months....well worth the wait.

My only complaint (minimal) would be the stirrup leathers. I would
prefer nylon. I spend a lot of time trying to keep them supple where
they contact the sides of the horse. I did not order stirrups....just
used my E-Z Ride strirrups which work great. And while I'm on the
subject, when I first looked at the E-Z Ride Stirrups I didn't like them
because they were metal (aluminum). You can now get them in plastic,
which are MUCH better. Lighter, don't clang around, scratch up things,
etc.

Regards Jim and a grateful Sun of Dimanche
