Pacific Coast Rides

It seems to me that sometime last year ridecamp said something about a
ride on private ground north of San Francisco in the Point Reyes area.  I
don't know if I have any of the facts correct, but is there a ride in CA
that actually goes on the coast?  If so when and where is it and what is
it called?

I have always wanted to ride on the coast just once.
