Ju st had this conversation with my vet a few days ago.  He said
that if you are going to supplement with gags, get them in the
acid base; not the sulfate base.  Reason is that the acid is an
efficient form for uptake; sulfate form is not.  Any comments
about this?  Hope this helps; ask your vet.
