GEO BUN BUSTER---NOT A BUST!!

HI Ridecampers,
  Just returned from the Geo Bun Buster ride (PS) and
wanted to let everyone know what a great job management did
with this ride.  Temp was around 80 and there was tons of water
provided.  They also had hay at EVERY water stop.  They were even
conscientious enough to disinfect all the water tubs.  The ride dinner was delicious and you could have seconds.  The completion T-shirt was a quality Hanes beefy T with a multicolor Indian pony design that was quite appealing. The trail marking was excellent.  Thanks to Chris Elton and Mike and Sue Benson for a job well done!!  Don't remember all the results, but around 100 horses started (39 in the 30 and I think 59 in the 50) with 13 purebred and 2 half arabs competing in the IAHA championship ride which was hosted by Geo Bun Buster.  1st place and BC in the 50 was Lisa Schneider on Fire Mt. Schatzi, 2nd Suzy Kelley, and 3rd Ernie Lohman.  Time was around 6 hours.  A fun, beautiful, weekend !!!
