I think thats a valid concern Lisa. I read somplace that lack of grazing is 
one of the reason horse will pick up bad habits such as cribbing. I guess 
you could say I overfeed hay too (though I don't think you can actually 
overfeed it). Whenever I have to confine Casino to his stall I give him all 
the hay he can chew. I think it also helps that his best buddy, my moms qh, 
is in the next stall and they have slatted sides so the can see eachother 
and even touch noses. Jess
