F&M Disease; Return of USA Horses From Dubai

Hopefully, the USA horses now in Dubai will be able to return home
without encountering too many problems and obstacles.  Hopefully,
history is not running a near repeat of events in '92.  (Remember the
aftermath of the '92 World Championships in Spain; the USA horses
testing positive for piroplasmosis (sp?), and having to undergo a long
treatment and quarantine in Europe before being allowed to come home?)
Let's all offer up a little prayer for the safe & speedy return of all
USA equines now competing out of the country; seriously, folks, they're
going to need all the help they can get in order to return home soon.
At the same time, let's be thankful that our country is diligent in
protecting its' agricultural health.  And before anybody flames the USDA
on this F&M issue, remember:  "It's always easy to criticize the farmer
when your belly is full."!
