RE: Supracor Cool Grip Endurance Pad

Sylvia, I have one of the Supracor Coo Grip pads. The one I bought is not
the full sized pad but one that is just large enough for the panels of the
saddle to rest on. I use it on top of a full sized pad with my dressage
saddle. I tried it once this winter directly against the horses back and
when I rinsed it out I found it took days to dry because the weather was
cool and humid. The pad is excellent, my horse is definitely more
comfortable in her back. I think it really absorbs shock from the riders
weight well. It is shaped well to stay up off the withers. You do notice a
slightly different feel when you ride, not really a wobble but a very slight
extra movement. But I feel much more wobble and bounce when I tried a
Cashel, thick foam pad.

I have seen some hair rubbing at the loins that I feel is because my horse
is dipped in the back. I just loaned the pad to a friend whose saddle is a
little too wide in the front right now because her horse has lost some
weight.

Just wondering if anyone out there has used the Supracor Cool Grip Endurance
pad and if so with what success? Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Sylvia in Az
