I'll trade you my throw for Rocky's BC thingy?  :^)  I guess the best award 
I got was the pioneer award blanket, just because it's useful and IMO, I'd 
rather get something that the horse can use.  I'm glad they will revert 
back to doing jackets for regional awards.

Not enough slides, huh?!!  I offered, several times (I don't have all the 
regions but at least three or four).  Even sent links the various photos 
from lots of different rides, esp. the one where Trilby got to 50,000 
miles, etc. and told them to pick or give me ideas and I'd get everything 
together.  If we could do it in powerpoint that'd be great, since that is 
how Susan G. does her slide presentation and she uses my photos.  I won't 
have photos from a lot of rides this year, probably just the XP, hopefully 
Tevis and if I'm really lucky some other rides from the late Fall.  Usually 
I give up trying to volunteer to do stuff after three tries, but if you 
think I should be more persistent I can be.

Like with the wrong ride results from last year -- I even sent photos 
proving the error from the ride in question.  They told me it was fixed 
(from the office).  It wasn't.  The whole FW standings in the W region are 
wrong.  Does anybody care?  Honestly, I don't really care (the error just 
gives me more points), but what does bother me is that the yearbook was 
published so full of errors.  :+/   Several rides don't list the 
non-finishers, the LD horses were left out completely, there is no HOF 
winners, Pardners winners (not even a listing of previous HOF winners), the 
stats page is a mess, as is the horse mileage (put in duplicate and 
triplicate).  Okay, I'm done complaining.  :P

P.S.  If anybody else on RC is interested, I did take quite a few photos at 
the convention.  Including my "special" award from John (that's cuz I 
whined ahead of time about the sofa throws <G>).....I can put them up on a 
page........?
