Hi Sue,
I am sure that you will get answers from those far more experienced than I.
I would like to caution you to be ever vigilant when gassing up. I was not
and when I exited the gas station and entered the freeway, my truck
immediately lurched and started to stall out. Luckily, I had not filled the
other gas tank as it had been full and I immediately switched to that tank.
As it turned out, the attendant (who was new and overwhelmed by too much
business and no other help) had mistakenly filled the tank with regular gas.
Had I continued to drive using that gas, I would have ruined the engine.
After siphoning the gas out and refilling the tank, it was fine. The Ford
dealership checked it out and found no damage. So now, I am sure to watch as
the tank is being filled. Here in Oregon, we are not allowed to fill our own
tanks.
