Re: older campaigners



My gelding will be 15 this year.  I just started him 3 years ago (though I
did own him as a 4 year old and started him with endurance in mind even
then, circumstances dictated I had to sell him, better circumstances
allowed me to find him and buy him back).  Anyway!  I think he is just
getting better and better!!  Of course, I think I am learning and applying
that learning can only help!  I fully expect to continue riding him until I
feel it is detrimental to his health.  Horses in their teens are really in
the prime of their life!
