In endurance in the UK, from the start of this season, it will be mandatory for riders to carry a small card in a plastic wallet with necessary medical information, blood group, tel nos, etc. Additionally there is another larger card to be completed with complete medical info (allergies, medical conditions and so-on). This card is put in a sealed envelope and is only to be opened in the case of an emergency. Can't recall where the envelope is to be left but it has to be taken to every ride.
