Sure, you're right.  Its just that for me, personally, there are things I
would be prepared to make a fuss about vis-a-vis "choice" and wearing a
seat-belt or wearing a helmet don't come into this category.

In France it is mandatory to wear a helmet now at all levels in endurance.
People made a big fuss initially but now no-one really minds.  Helmets have
come on a long way and I don't find wearing a Troxel a pain, and I sure
don't like things on my head.
