weight and horse size

Has anyone ever done a study on rider weight and horse size on the high
mileage horses?   In mileage over 10,000 ( career miles )  how many
heavy weights are riding horses under 15 h and how many are riding
horses over 15 h ?   Would this not show if weight and horse size makes
a difference in the long run?
Can a 14.3 horse carring 225 lb. do the same high mileage that a 15.2
horse does with the same weight?     Yes, I know it depends on the
horse.   But, how many heavy weights are riding small horses and have
high mileage?
