Conceivably, couldn't those same sponsors be interested in helping a
similar event?  Especially since endurance riding is a more popular,
well-known sport now, than it was when ROC was big.  And doesn't seem like
if enough people wanted to have something like the ROC again, a few of them
would be willing to donate some of their time to the cause?  Just some
thoughts.
Some of you will remember that the ROC did not have many of the same sponsors for very long.  One of the problems with our sport is the low profile and lack of "visibility".  Hence, sponsors don't get much bang for their buck....

Sponsors, like riders, are customers...you've got to give them something in return equal to what they are giving...
