I am looking for info on a close contact English style saddle to compete on. I ride two half arabs - one fairly high whithered. Presently, I ride in a Stueben (very old) and have tremendous trouble with it slipping back - have tried various things - supposeldy non-slip waffle pads, etc. Regardless, it is time for a new saddle. Any leads, etc would be appreciated.
I have tried an Orthoflex Endurance Cutback which was soooo comfortable but don't like sitting so far off the back of my horse!!
