Exactly.  Nearly all national organizations that have conventions move
them around the country.  I don't know of any others that have their
National Convention in the same city year after year.  The AERC is not
the only organization with a tight budget, and a lot of stuff to take
to its convention.  If other organizations can manage to do it, why
not the AERC?
