Well, i ponied the horse without the junior the year my son broke a stirrup
leather and landed butt first in a cholla cactus at mile six.  Ponied his
horse into vet check 1 at mile 12, where the horse got a ride back to camp
in the trailer.  Kid got a ride from someone crewing who passed us as trail
and crew road passed each other.  You can be sure he did not sit down on the
way in!
