freeze marking problems

Really!!!I called her and she said that grey's freeze marks hardly ever show
up unless they are shaved. So I shave mine all the time, but even still, a
couple of the symbols did not come out at all. Lucky for my friend 'cause
her freeze mark is not under the mane like many people do, and it's very
obvious. Has anyone ever heard of Freeze marking being considered a blemish
in the show ring? I know in Europe they mark their horses in different ways
but You hardly ever see F.M.s in the show ring around these parts. Beth
