stonewall saddle Q

Can someone who has ridden dressage and in Stonewall saddles please comment on how the Stonewall saddle's stirrups are hung?  Are they balanced like a dressage saddle or do they feel a bit more forward??

 

I am looking for a cheap, decent fitting, very secure saddle to get my new horse's training/initial conditioning done (read: I'm too chicken to start her out English in the backcountry).  My Aussie does not feel properly balanced on her, though the fit is good - I feel like I get put too far forward at the trot.  The Stonewalls look like a decent option if the balance is good.
