Because the horse doesn't care?
Why not give a horse credit for 50 miles if he gets pulled at mile 75 on a
100. After all, he put in those miles. :=>
I don't see how you could give a horse lifetime credit for LD in the
regular mileage category without the AERC changing it's definition of what
an endurance ride is (which is 50 miles or more). Besides, who cares --
you can look it up on the aerc.org page and see the horses entire ride
history.
