I disagree.  What they like in the halter ring is NOT hardly rideable
anymore.
Take a look at AHW.  Look at those long backs, "hot dog" torsos, flat
croups....
Some of them look like they would fall on their noses if the handler wasn't
holding their head up!
I agree a good horse is a good horse no matter the pedigree, but their are
bloodlines that are better suited for endurance (ie backs and croups).  This
is why the Polish, Russian, and old Crabbet do so well.
As for "endurance bloodlines" there will always be too many
variables...nothing like track racing....
