I attended the death of my preemie great-nephew on Saturday.  He was 3 days
old.  I would have loved to introduce him to riding at ANY age if he only
could have lived that long.  Not every child CAN or WANTS to ride (any
distance) endurance at 3, 5, 8 or 15 but there are always exceptions.  How
wonderful that these youngsters have the health and opportunity to do so.
Not meaning to be argumentive and I HAVE worked with many terminally ill
children and I KNOW how frustrating it can be....this is just my perspective
at this moment.  I would have loved to have the opportunity to introduce
this sweet little boy to horses and riding.  I also have 3 children (15, 17
and 19) and of the 3, only the last has shown my passion and desire for
riding and horses....I was getting worried for awhile!  :)
