In latest edition of Trail Blazer Magazine there is a controversy about 
President Clinton shuting down access to millions of acres of public lands by 
declaring them "roadless". It says the Forest Service will be actually 
shutting down perfectly operating roads- roads that are often used by 
equestrians to trailer into areas of the wilderness for pack trips, endurance 
rides etc.  These are websites given:

Urging all to let the feds know how you feel about them backing this 
initiative. Tell them how much you and your familys enjoy these threatened 
areas.  Always something isn't there.  Just thought I would pass it along
