Cheap Rain Gear

I have what the Navy calls a "poncho liner" Seems link a poncho to me.
Mine is Camouflage, not sure they come any other color or not. This thing
covers me all the way to past my knees, and I am 5'7", covers the whole
saddle, 1/2 the horses rump.....it is "open" on the sides held together with
snaps so it breaths well. It also has an attached hood so water doesn't run
down your neck and it fits over my helmet. It is comfortable, roomy, keeps
me dry, and best of all can be had at surplus stores for about $15....and
packs into saddle bag easily and weighs NOTHING.

To complete the outfit I have a pair of rain pants from Wally World ( about
$12 ) Lace up Muckers with fleece liners also courtesy of Wally World ( $17
on sale ) that fit into my EZ Ride stirrups without any problem.
Waterproof Ski Gloves from the grocery store......$12.....

So for less than $50 I am covered from head to toe....Hope that helps those
of you on a budget....

Becky and Marc and now Robbi....
