Autumn Ride in PA tomorrow...

I just came home from helping to register horses and riders for
the first Genesee 50/100 ride hosted by Alex and Cia Reis in 
Pennsdale,PA. I must say that this promises to be a standard
for rides.  I could not agree with Debbie Zanot more!

Cia and Alex have a wonderful home and facilities with a 
panoramic view of the Susquehanna Valley...mountains cross-
crossing for miles upon miles on the horizon with foothills
reaching to autumn clear skies...a place of dreams. Their 
hospitality is the only thing that rivals the scenery.

Alex dedicated the inaugural ride to his father, who passed 
away last week...he introduced Alex to the Arabian horse some
forty years ago.  While I am certain he was a man of many 
talents and virtues, his love and respect for these horses
lives on valiantly through his son, as demonstrated by this
awesome event to begin tomorrow.

Old friends and new will participate tomorrow.  Maggie Price 
brought film from the WEC in France last month and set it
up in the registration barn for all to see while going through
the registration process, our Canadian good neighbors are well 
represented among the contestants, Valerie and Danielle are 
there as well as "first timers"...in general, a great mix, I
think you would agree.

I know it is my home, but Pennsylvania truly is beautiful at
this time of year and I wish all of you were here!
