need advice on bowed tendon

Hello all!
Would like advice on a small problem. 8yr gelding just bowed left rear tendon in paddock by himself-had recently seperated him from herd as he was getting too beat up-so of course he ran around pen-we still don't know just how it happened-but anyway-giving him some bute amd msm and wrapping it in a clay poultice sweat[saran wrap, clay poultice and outer wrap for support. Even without all this he's still using it and trotting around[don't have a smaller enclosure to put him in-it's 15'x30'] High dose of msm and hiscorbadine[for healing]. Any other suggestions?
