1. Apply to AHSA (Jennifer Singleton = jsingelton@ahsa.org). Pay small
fee.
2. Hire one vet from their list of FEI veterinary judges list.
3. Chose a technical delegate from the AHSA provided list.  This person
will work closely with the ride manager to make sure the ride is fair to
all.
4. Get a list of approved officials, some of whom may be "candidate
judges" and will work for free for the experience. The TD will decide who
will act as Ground Jury, Appeals Committee, etc.  THEY will handle all
complaints and make decisions for you.  YOU (as ride manager)  do not
have to be the fall guy....
5. Publicize your ride. Run it almost as usual.

You will find that nothing much will change.  In fact it will run
smoother. The key is a TD (technical delegate) you feel good working
along side of.
