shhh! About fireshoes

Now this morning I heard that the NATRC ride at Ramona is being threatened 
by the forestry dept., who has suddenly developed a fear of "Fireshoes", and 
those grey horses, not to mention humans.  Maybe it's all the media 
attention--yikes, is the forestry dept. lurking out there on ridecamp?  They 
are closing a lot of public land around the San Diego area, apparently.
    At least they didn't hear about the 8 foot high, jumping coyotes in 
Chino Hills state park that eat ride ribbons hung way up in trees, according 
to the "ecologist" there. Of course, the fact that they can walk right past 
the fence to the neighborhood development, and get their fill of hefty trash 
bags, and neighborhood cats with flea collars on doesn't seem to affect 
them...
  Let's start a new rumor for those forestry folks..how about..uh, crows are 
the ones starting the fires, they scratch the rocks looking for worms, and 
"poof" instant fire.
