In the States, maybe.  Out here, Crocodiles hide in puddles, hippos hide in
rivers and lions hide in ditches.

Nope, its a gnome.  He's often to be seen sitting on a dead tree-stump as
well.  He wears little yellow leggings, a blue tunic and a red hat, and he
smokes a pipe.  Quite a nasty little bugger if you don't tip your hat at
him, too.


And elves hide in flower pots.  And fairies hide underneath plastic packets.


There, it's simple.  So next time your horse shies at a tree stump, you have
only yourself to blame for not tipping your hat at the gnome.  And for God's
sake, don't mention his lack of a colour-coordinated wardrobe, these guys
get nasty when they're pissed!
