Re: health certificates

I think it is all the price of competing. My horses health is worth the
money spent. Just wish others felt the same.

Hi Jonni-
Our area, including AR, TX, OK, TX, LA now has an "Equine Passport"
specifically for horses and their folks who travel frequently within their
region. This particular Passport requires new Coggins every 6 months,
however the Health Certificate portion is also in effect for 6 months. The
Passport is honored amongst all the participating states. There's a bit
more paperwork, and it seems that vets tend to be more thorough. I had
first heard about this option in the Western states- can't recall which ones
were participating.
