RC: slant load vs straight load

It is also true that while traveling in a moving trailer...a
horse has to put more weight on his hind end to balance
himself if he is facing forward.  By facing backwards...he
is putting his weight and balancing on his front
end...which, of course, is more natural and more
comfortable.

Not sure what slant loads make horse do for balance...but
they sure seem to travel well in them.
