Although you are correct that Tevis is perceived to be special (and IS
special), it is not any more difficult than some of the other tougher 100's
around the country. OD and Bighorn come to mind, as well as a few
lesser-known ones. A tough 100 is a tough 100, and odds are that if one does
very many 100's in pursuit of mileage championships, some of the tough ones
are going to be on the schedule...
