Buckskin Morgans are vastly more common that grays.  The reason there are
fewer buckskins than palominos is due to the predominance of the chestnut
recessive when it gets in there.  Lots of bays and buckskins (buckskin is
just bay with a single dilution gene, palomino is just chestnut with a
single dilution gene) also carry a single recessive chestnut gene.... which
means that they are a chestnut "carrier" but it is not expressed. That's why
you can breed two bays and often get a chestnut offspring.  However, if you
breed a chestnut to a bay, you have a greater chance of getting chestnut if
the bay is also a carrier.

The reason I mention this is that if you want a buckskin Morab... you have a
better chance breeding a buckskin to a bay than a palomino to a bay.  It's
even better odds if you can find a bay who is not a chestnut carrier.  They
will always produce a bay (or buckskin).
