              Yes, I broke a mare many years ago who paced.  She was a well
bred reg. arab mare.  Cute as can be and gaited to the max.  She was quite
comfortable to ride. I could make her hard trot when I needed to but....why
bother?  Whats the problem anyway.  Gaiting is just an added plus as far as
I'm concerned.  Its these ignorant horseshow people that frown on a gaited
horse.  A gaited horse can really eat up the down hills with much less wear
an tear on their skeletal structure.  My appy mare can gait and her 1 mo.
old filly can gait up a storm!!!  I hope she keeps it up.  Just MHO
gesa n clovis(I can gait too) n sky(I have a mean running walk now).
