Trilby breaks 50K

http://members.xoom.com/ridephotos/

The link is the first one under "2000 Ride Season".

Assuming that there is somebody somewhere that doesn't know who Trilby
Pederson is (not any respectable endurance rider I know <G>)......she
reached the 50,000+ mile mark at the June XP (Pony Expess) ride at Fort
Shellborne this last week. Trilby is 65 years old and has been riding
since the early 80's, often completing 2000 or more miles on a single horse
every ride season. She takes the full time to complete each ride. If
Trilby is in, then it's a pretty safe bet that everybody else on the ride
is in too.

It's pretty amazing when you think about how far 50,000 miles is --- on a
HORSE yet. Just think about it, if you were to ride 1,000 miles a year
(which is probably more than most people ride)....it would take you half a
century to reach 50,000 miles. Pretty amazing.

Happy Trails,
