Lawton Johnston...a Great Man

Nina,
I echo your sentiments.Lawton was (is) a great man. He was also a man of
faith. And there are horses in heaven, or how else could our Lord and
his army return on horseback as stated in the book of Revelation?(Rev.
9:16 & 17) I am sure Lawton is tending to the horses and the trails up
there, and waiting for us to join him for a good ride.

All of us will miss Lawton for a very long time. He was a one of a kind
special person. So was Francis. Your mother was right when she said on
Ridecamp that the southeast will never be the same.

I regret not being able to be there.

I left work yesterday and my truck broke. I ended up having a pulley
replaced under the hood. It was after five o'clock before it was on the
road again. This past year or so have "been the devil" on my vehicles.
(This was the truck Harold bought for me the weekend of the Hallelujah
ride.)
