Thanks for that post, Linda. Makes sense to me. I do have to work on rating
my horse. Especially at the start of a ride. No matter how our training
rides go, Engelita seems to know when we are riding the "real thing" and the
first ten miles or so are a real battle unless I let her stay with the front
runners for a while. She expends so much energy fighting me that I sometimes
give in just to save her for later in the ride. Soooo much to learn. I love
it!!
