That's the way we used to do it.  Worked fine.  Why would you want to catch the water?  It's great fertilizer for the weeds (oops, I mean pasture) underneath the trailer AND it washes your mats off.  Of course it's not "self contained" - but even if you were to shower standing in a wash basin or kiddie pool so that you could catch the water,  *some* parks departments define "self contained" as being something you bought off a lot somewhere with all the doodads already installed.  Lif
