Re: Re: Grass before a ride

Ditto for us and we live in the WEST wettest, on the Pacific Ocean, our
specialty is cool and damp. The pasture was for cattle, so has lots of
clover, not especially weedy I guess. We do very little (perhaps no)
specialty feeding except a day or two before and at the endurance ride. We
successfully do 1 to 5 day rides on pretty much pasture alone. Our horses
start competition at 5 and continue to 25 plus.

What more can I say?

Joan with nearly 12,000 miles on my own butt, say nothing of 20 championship
Ride and Ties. (same horses!)
