Bumps on horse's back

Connie equibroke@aol.com
Has anyone ever experienced bumps occuring on their horse's back after removing the saddle. These bumps are about the size of a nickle and are hard. My horse does not react when they are touched. I have tried every kind of pad imaginable but she still gets them. This just started occuring after I had new panels put on my 9 year old Orthoflex Cutback saddle. I don't know if the material the new panels are made of might be different but this is driving me up the wall. The bumps normally go away within 24 - 48 hours. Any ideas would be appreciated.
