I don't want to burst any bubbles---but have you checked the eyebrow hairs?
If there is even one white hair there--your baby is going to be a grey
(99.9% chance according to MY statistics (grin))--I had the same thing
happen--LOVELY black (mouse-colored at birth) filly---born from a mating of
two greys---now a lovely steel grey at two.
