If this is a perimeter fence, you may want to check out what is considered a 
"legal" fence in your state/county. I know electric tape doesn't qualify in 
Missouri. So if your horse got out & caused any damage you would have NO 
legal recourse. Cross fencing your own property of course you can do 
whatever you want (so far!).
