Nope. ;^)   The purple ones just squeak, but they are on the right 
way.  The black (plastic) ones don't squeak.  I kinda like having them on 
backwards.  I've been riding both horses in the same saddle lately, it's 
just easier (see, now you guys are finding out just how lazy I really am 
<G>), I don't have to adjust the stirrups every time (because somebody has 
ridden in my other saddle), and my "stuff" is all in the one saddle.  Plus, 
as much as I like the black plastic EZrides, I think I like my aluminum 
PUPRLE ones better!! <G>
