Hi. I was almost wiped out by a biker on the horse trails. I was just ready
to go into a trot after crossing a street and a teen came whipping around the
corner of the trail. He was hidden, just as I was from him but he slid around
the corner and pulled over. He looked pretty startled. Scared the heck out of
me thinking what could've happened. Where we ride, it's up and down hills,
lots of brush and trees and turns and great training trails. But it's
dangerous to train if there are bikes on the trails. I think there should be
specific trails for horses and for bikes. The two don't go together
especially if they crash head on with each other. Someone is going to get
seriously hurt or killed. I'm not against bikes or bikers. I'm married to one
who rides on the roads because the mountain trails for the bikers are non
existent anymore.
