threats on a horse

I just recieved a disturbing phone call tonite. Concerning the mare I bought 
in September.Could someone please give me some feedback on a threat on 
taking a horse back legally? I have the horse in hubbys and mine name with 
her registration papers. I also have 2 checks that we wrote for her. I have 
had someone threaten to take her because he says he trained her and was to 
recieve her as payment for the person who sold her to the person I bought 
her from. I think I scared him off with the paper transfer line but I am 
still paranoid. I have her at the trainers and I warned her about the 
mentioned person. She assured me he may get on the property but would not 
make it off unless it was in a body bag? Maybe I am being to paranoid but 
when some person threatens me, I get a bit edgy!!
Any good ideas to keep her from being stolen? she is at trainers now and he 
may know where she is. I have already informed her.
